Scotland West Golf Competition

Paul Clapperton made a winning start to his Lothian Golf career - winning the 9 hole Championship at Cawder by quite a margin - picking up the gold medal & quaich.

Caitlin Dodds won the bronze medal in her 18 hole group - great effort & result for her.

Andrew Stevenson & Claire Jefray also played in the 18 & 9 hole competitions respectively - but were unlucky not to medal on this occasion.

Everyone played good golf on the day & for a change the rain stayed away.

Sheffield Team Launch at Beeslack CHS

4th June sees the whole team coming together for a team building session.  Its a team of all the sports coming together - get to know all the coaches and athletes that will be travelling to Sheffield.  The afternoon will be Sheffield information, acceptance of Kit, Code of conduct and Question and Answering Session.  

Everyone who is travelling to Sheffield as part of the team is expected to attend.

Time : 09:30am to 15:30pm (approx)

New web site launched

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new website , along with a new look, we have included some features that we hope will make visiting the site easier and a more interactive experience.

The launch of the new website, which offers quick and easy access to essential information on Lothian Special Olympics, is part of the organisation’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and availability of information to athletes, parents and sponsors.

We have also launched a new Twitter page, the link can be found at the foot off the page.

Fundrasing Event for 'Sheffield 2017' on 12th May @ Loanhead Miners Club

Get your dancing shoes on and join us for a Fundraisingevent to send our athletes to Special Olympics GB 'National Summer Games' Sheffield 2017.

All funds raised at this event will go towards helping/supporting our athletes for the upcoming National Summer Games in Sheffield. The event will take place at Loanhead Miners Club on Friday 12th May.

Tickets can be ordered through team coaches or by emailing solothian@gmail.com and are priced at £6.00 per person.
